Photovoltaic power plants installations on growth

Exports from the Czech Republic grew 8.4% to CZK 249,3 y/y in April, while imports increased 4.8% to CZK 227,3 bln.
Domestic distribution companies received in the first five months of this year 10,000 applications to connect small roof photovoltaic power plants. According to the Czech Industry and Photovoltaic Association (CZEPHO) the new act on supported sources, which abolished unused reservations of performance totaling 600 MW, has opened up new opportunities for installations. In the coming five years this will allow for the installation of 20,000 power plants in family homes.
